Get Up and Jump is a song by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
There are at least three versions of it:
- the third song on the band's 1983 Demo
- the fourth song on the band's debut album, The Red Hot Chili Peppers
- a "dance mix"
It is the fourth track and lead single from the band's debut album, The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The song was released as a single, with it's A-side including a remix version of the song dubbed "Dance Mix" and the B-side including a remix version of "Baby Appeal", dubbed the "Club Mix". No music video has been made for the single, instead, the band recorded a music video for "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes". It also appears on the compilation album What Hits!?, being the only track from the debut album along with "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes" to appear on the album.
